The Corsicana Fire Department exists to provide public safety to the citizens of Corsicana. This is accomplished with three platoons of firefighters and an administrative staff. The department accomplishes its mission by responding to fire emergencies, rescue emergencies, medical emergencies, hazardous material emergencies, natural disaster emergencies, and routine service calls. In addition to emergency responses, the department provides fire prevention, inspection, fire investigation, public education, and any other appropriate service the citizens may require.
