Trash/Recycling

Allied Waste is the City’s contracted collector of garbage and recyclables. For non-billing related questions or concerns, please contact Allied Waste at (903)874-8717.

Corsicana as a standard uses the 95 gallon poly cart method for waste pickup.  The poly cart must be placed at the curb by 6:30 am on your designated trash day and must be removed from the curb no later than 10 pm on the day of collection.  All solid waste must be bagged or contained inside the poly cart. Additional carts are available for an additional charge.  Smaller 65 gallon carts are also available on an “as requested” basis. 

Garbage and recycling will be picked up once per week.  Click here to view the pickup schedule.  Recycling carts are available on an “as requested” basis. There is no additional charge for one recycling cart. Please note, garbage and recycling trucks may not run at the same time. Place your recycling cart in the same location as your trash cart.

Poly carts should be placed near the curb at least three feet from any object including other poly carts, water meters, gas meters, parked cars, mail boxes, trees, power poles, fences, etc.

Bulk item pickup is scheduled on a call-in basis. The bulk route will run on Wednesday each week.  Bulk items should be at the curb no earlier than 5 pm the evening before scheduled pickup.

Allied Waste will run a route to pickup leaves and bundled brush twice per month. Click here for the pickup schedule.  Tree trimmings must be cut and bundled in four foot sections.  The term “bundle” shall be defined as shrub and brush trimmings securely tied together forming an easily handled package, not exceeding four (4) feet in length or 35 pounds in weight.
